It is a $5 minimum with a low 15% takeout.
It's based on the last last race at Santa Anita and Golden Gate

Every Double on NJBets.com at Santa Anita is reported at $5

You sure? The Golden Hour double is a $5 bet but everything else should show the minimum. Are you sure it wasn’t the Golden Hour double? Why would they show the will pay for $5? That makes no sense.

I was sober as Steve Byk when he nailed that nice Pick 4 at Churchill . Couldn't Imbed below probably too large. And to answer the next question.. YES every double reported as the below... Also be aware only the 2 racing pictures are mine. It seems this site posts “Also on IMGUR“ under my 2 pictures. They are NOT MINE.

A lot of tracks report a $1 will pay on the P4 and P5 even where the minimum bet is .50.

I guess I’m just used to figuring that I’m only getting 1/2 of that if I’ve bet the minimum.

I agree that it makes more sense to list payouts with the minimum available bet but it’s kind of a shoulder shrug for me. I can do the math.

I'm more than capable of doing the math and if you are implying otherwise Any Place Anywhere Anytime GOD.... You are kind of ABSENT LATELY NO?

But $5 for a bet that is a minimum $2? Have you ever seen ANY TRACK report a Daily Double at $5? Why do you think they do that? The only conclusion I can come up with is they are trying to deceive those used to seeing $1 and $2 payouts thinking wow such healthy doubles at Santa Anita
