![]() It is a $5 minimum with a low 15% takeout.
It's based on the last last race at Santa Anita and Golden Gate |

![]() You sure? The Golden Hour double is a $5 bet but everything else should show the minimum. Are you sure it wasn’t the Golden Hour double? Why would they show the will pay for $5? That makes no sense.

![]() I was sober as Steve Byk when he nailed that nice Pick 4 at Churchill . Couldn't Imbed below probably too large. And to answer the next question.. YES every double reported as the below... Also be aware only the 2 racing pictures are mine. It seems this site posts “Also on IMGUR“ under my 2 pictures. They are NOT MINE.

![]() A lot of tracks report a $1 will pay on the P4 and P5 even where the minimum bet is .50.
I guess I’m just used to figuring that I’m only getting 1/2 of that if I’ve bet the minimum. I agree that it makes more sense to list payouts with the minimum available bet but it’s kind of a shoulder shrug for me. I can do the math. |

![]() But $5 for a bet that is a minimum $2? Have you ever seen ANY TRACK report a Daily Double at $5? Why do you think they do that? The only conclusion I can come up with is they are trying to deceive those used to seeing $1 and $2 payouts thinking wow such healthy doubles at Santa Anita |
