no alcohol for me either...
new years eve has always been a party night that I don't really get...standing in line to get into a very crowded bar in 20 degree weather so i can be overcharged for a watered down drink that will then get spilled when the really drunk college kid crashes into me while arguing that he is fine to drive is not my idea of fun....

A 5th of Jim Beam and some kick arse BBQ chicken later I feel great. I saw no Cops on the way home. I know drinking and driving is bad but I only drove 1/2 mile from my buddies houseto mine. Lots of football to be played today Go Hogs and Wolvernies.

Why didnt you just walk? Thats when most drinking & driving accidents & arrests occur.

Glad you made it home okay but please dont do it again.

glad you and anyone you encountered on the way home all made it thru unscathed.
of course had you met a cop, i'm sure your reasoning of only going 1/2 mile would have gotten you out of any trouble!

4 days ago I guy I know got in the car with 2 of his friends...all had been drinking. They went off the road about a mile from where they live...2 guys died at the scene. The guy I know has been in the hospital in Lexington since...next time you are out, walk home or take a cab.
