Would assume with the breeding that he would want to go two turns...
$1 million purchase price for NY Bred - given that and the connections not that unusual to wait until now to get first start His workouts were so so... Nothing great.... THe race as you described it was visually very impressive....Not sure if he got beat by anything special but there has been a speed bias to the dirt track at Santa Anita which is the norm Obviously he will most likely be odds on next start... Too early to make any Derby opinions on him but he seems to have a nice future, but then again for $1 million he has a ways to go to get back to even.
