I admire you all for getting your picks in early! I'm always so late! I'm working from home for the past month and I think I'm losing a hunk of my brain everyday! I'l be there tomorrow. Good luck!

Cal828, rule #1, don't change your mind, lol. Over the years I keep saying that but don't follow my advice either. many times I did go against Rule #1 and would have cashed in, Good luck my friend

“rule #1, don't change your mind”
That reminds me of an old saying that I really relate to “I just changed my mind ... I sure hope this one works “ |

![]() I guess my mind works ok and about as good as it ever did, except I do sometimes have trouble recalling a name or even a word. So when I see former Vice President Biden do this on TV, I can totally relate to him. ![]() |

That's probably great advice. Sometimes, I help myself with last second decisions and sometimes not. I helped myself last week by playing a bigger exacta in one of my bets than I originally intended to, but would have helped myself a lot more by not playing exactas at all. It's a tough game to get everything right. Even if you get the handicapping right in some races, you can make the wrong bet or choose the wrong race to play.

And don't listen to all the so called "Experts". Use your own system, or process and/or luck and your always better off That's been proved to me many, many times.

Good advice also. There is nothing so maddening as picking a horse and then waver on that pick because of the "experts." I think the longer you play, the more you go with your own picks, sometimes to your advantage and sometimes not. Most of the time, I go with my own, especially in our play here, but in really hard races to decipher like the Derby, I look at what the "experts" have to say.
