In race 3, anyone who remembers the play or movie My Fair Lady was probably rooting for #14 Come On Dover in the same way that Eliza was. One of the funniest racing episodes on film that I can remember.

You're not complaining are you? That one point would be a good day for me!

That was a heck of a race, especially in the stretch. Not only did Winning Impression eliminate any chance of heavy fav Answer In and get himself taken down in the process, but Finnick also had to deal with troubles of his own before making a very nifty move along the rail [to much avail]. |

Great play Roamin.
![]() On another subject, I can't believe those camera shots of the paddock. Riders were wearing masks, outriders were wearing masks, gate crew was wearing masks and then they show the paddock and I don't think I saw any grooms leading horses in to the paddock wearing masks and there seemed to be an awful lot of people just standing around not wearing masks. There has been no order so far to make people wear masks, but seems like people would know that their jobs are on the line as well as their lives. ![]() ![]() Last edited by cal828 : 04-05-2020 at 10:20 AM. |
