![]() I think it’s a great idea... I wonder if Churchill will write a race for June to bridge the gap to the Haskell and Travers. In any case, I guess what will happen is that trainers will aim their colts to be at their best in the SA Derby and other races rather than trying to build them to a peak...Keeping these horses at a peak for an entire year is not going to be easy.

![]() Can't find a link at the moment, but I read somewhere this morning that Oaklawn is not letting jockeys that rode at fairgrounds to race for 2 weeks. Santana is off his mounts for today. Meanwhile, Talamo is still free to ride.

![]() It also seems strange that Oaklawn is letting horses from Fairgrounds ship in and race. Some were in New Orleans just a week ago. Doesn't seem like the smartest idea.
