Monmouth is on a complete hold as of 12:20pm. Horses remain in the paddock and have been instructed to unsaddle. Two scratches in Race 1 have just been announced. According to broadcasts, State Regulators have stepped into this discussion.

They cancelled r 3,4 6 7 13 14- will run the 5th race at 6 pm and thr r 8- 12 will all run with a p5 on those races

The NJ Racing Commission is normally on top of things. I wonder why they would wait until the last minute to get involved...unless they’re being directed by higher ranking officials.
