It’s too late now to make a change
And the venue format to rearrange

*** When I looked at DRF STAKES SCHEDULE
There was no Penn National or Even Arlington Listed!

So I tried to decide between Santa Anita and Churchill downs

Additionally trying to be considerate I posted the venue on Wednesday night instead of waiting until Thursday morning

that is when I got an email from one of my players questioning
why I did not choose Penn national

I then went to look at the card and felt my whiskers twisting in the wind

It’s too late now to change the track
I only wish I could take it back

I would enjoy receiving a link to a better source of future stakes races

The Stakes Calendar at Bloodhorse is usually a more reliable list of upcoming stakes races. As you can see, it extends further into the future than DRF.

Here's a link for future reference:

No need to fret. Even though there's no Stephen Foster or Fleur de Lis on the Churchill card (there's both on a superb race card two weeks away), the Churchill offering should suit us just fine as we eagerly await the Belmont. My only complaint is that Mike Battaglia makes a mediocre morning line. The couple of times I checked the numbers, he never got below a total of 125%, even though the WPS takeout in KY is only 17.5%. He also seems to use 6-1 as his automatic default odds once he gets beyond the contenders. Perhaps I'm being too picky, but his ML has a very mechanical feel to it and has for many years.

Thank you JOLY and Real Quiet for the BLOODHORSE information

All these years I have always used DRF STAKES schedule

It never occurred to me to go to BLOODHORSE for that information
Interestingly I get daily BLOODHORSE emails with updates

I probably will never use DRF again!!!

Again I offer my apologies for choosing the wrong track
I only wish I could’ve taken it back but found out too late

Sounds like more than a couple of us drifted over to Bloodhorse. I too used DRF Stakes schedule for a long time, but it got to where I couldn't find it on the site so gave up and went over to BH. Don't use much at DRF anymore except for entries and results and an occasional written opinion piece by Watchmaker or Privman and during Derby preps I look at their Derby Watch listing.
