My horse was the best horse, and a deserving winner of the May 4th, 2019 Kentucky Derby. The contact he made with any other horse did not keep them from winning the Kentucky Derby. They were not the best horse that day. Maximum Security was, and always will be the best horse that day. Disqualifications should be saved for when a horse would of won if not for being fouled. That is what is best. Not this pathetic p.c. pity fest that has taken over our sport. This is especially true when there are 19 horses running on a slip n' slide. I digress. I don't care about winning some secondary jewel or consolation race. So, I am retiring my horse. Enjoy your memories of seeing me, my wife, and my trainer in utter agony. You will not get a chance to see that again. He will never race again.
