Half the field as seen now would. Half of what's left belongs at 6 furlongs.

Pretty wide open field for the KD it would seem when all you’ll have to do is “pop” a 95 BSF or so to win it.

Wonder why the SA Derby received the BSF it did when it was faster than the SA Handicap? Did the track change over the hour +? At the very least make them both 98's which seems way more likely, Gift Box is some killer now? Who Knew?

The SA Derby was faster than the SA Handicap because it was a furlong shorter.

Gift Box on his best form at 3, was within a length of Connect and within 4 lengths of Gun Runner. On speed figures he's been fairly consistent in his last half dozen starts despite large gaps.

Seemingly well meant from the start, his issue appears to be staying sound given his history of frequent layoffs.

Yep I was looking at the wrong races to compare them and screwed up. The figs assigned to SA Derby and Big cap have some artistic tweaking but none of what I suggested has anything remotely to do with such.
