![]() I don't think she's any potential superstar on dirt and I think she'll ultimately get beat, but I don't see why this is even a debate.
Given that it's generally more lucrative, prestigious, valuable etc to win major dirt races, I think it's logical to keep her on the dirt and try to win a couple of the major races for 3 yo fillies. If she gets beat a couple of times and starts to look like she isn't a division leader on the dirt, then go back to the turf where she'll probably excel. The turf is always there as an option. Similar situation to Barbaro. All things equal, it's much more meaningful to win the Kentucky Oaks or the Alabama versus the American Oaks or the Del Mar Oaks.

i just find it silly to say that she won't win a grade I dirt race again. i'd be honestly shocked if she didn't win at LEAST one more, i'd be willing to bet on two or more. |

Would make her worth a ton more, plus taking a grade I out in California should be a proverbial piece of cake for a horse like her next year. I mean, what's she got to beat out West? The blazing stretch run of Quick Little Miss? She'd cakewalk over most of those horses. |

![]() I for one will be surprised if she wins another Grade 1 on the dirt. I guess if the competition remains bad, and she gets loose on the lead again over a speedway, then anything is possible, but I still haven't seen her run an even remotely good dirt race.
I have no idea what is appealing about her future on the dirt. Her BC race was mediocre at best. |

you forgot the prioress...which @ 6f prolly isn't a race she would point for anyway... and I agree that she's realistically a better turf horse...but given the class of 2YO fillies on dirt this year I think she has a reasonable chance to win another g1 on dirt next year if she remains against her own age group.
