I can't tell you how close I was to throwing $25 bucks at Discreet Lover to win . . . but my "methodical and calculating" horse brain took over my "wild and wooley" horse brain and said "what are nuts".
   And sometimes you need to be nuts in the game to hit a nice payoff.
