Quick update since I'm way behind by letting real life get in the way of my fun here . . . oh well, not retired yet and still loving my job so it could be worse. Now back to the contest, after that short "who cares DG" editorial.
Points and ROI Totals through August 18, 2018 Not much change except DG is playing "tag your it" with RQ to recapture the 3 hole while JB maintains his even more commanding lead out front as Ruffian cuts into it slightly. Points and ROI Totals through August 25, 2018
Labor Day Weekend update with lots of yard work and home stuff and I LABORed way to hard and today I may rest up . . . but anyway back to the totals. No change in the order asJolyB continues his smooth and easy ride to the Year's Handicap Champion while Ruffian adds nicely to her total in the 2 spot and DonGuido widens the separation from RQ adding minor points. Plenilune nails the win in ROI and increase her points totals hanging tough on the fifth rung of the ladder. Banter nabs a place position in ROI and Cal 828 hits show spot in the Points contest both add nicely to their totals. Let's see how the last Saturday card at Saratoga treats us, giving me a "no show" "no points" . . . with guests visting and just too much going on. Always a sad day when racing has to wait again until next year at the Spa.
