Not a fan of Pedroza's whip use down the stretch of Race #9 at CD. Seemed rather excessive to me. Was there a reason for that that I'm not seeing? It sure didn't seem to have an impact. I think she was trying as hard as she was going to and picking up a horse after being next to last for most of the race was unlikely.

I just checked and she had a collision and fall in her last race in March, getting a DNF. The race prior to that, she was next to last. If she wasn't enjoying the experience of racing, I dunno that I'd blame her.
