Sad

I think part of why it’s SO maddening (to me at least) is because the kid has some good opinions. He likes to identify horses before they become “household names” and is quick to toss around the word superstar, but it’s all part of his shtick. And I GET THAT. He has some REALLY nice calls. I enjoy reading his posts outside of the selections threads.

And then there’s the selections threads. Total slap in the face to those that actually grind it out. Dude makes Jimmy Ellis look like a $2 WPS bettor like grandma Betty

Few months ago when we were knocking heads, he actually listened to someone on here about posting his plays without increments. All kidding aside I think that lasted what, 2-3 races??? It was at that point where I realized it’s an egotistical problem. He needs everyone to know how much he “won”. This would be all fine & dandy if his antics weren’t pushing away a SLEW of posters that play the $24-36 tickets. I have less fingers than the amount of people thanking me for “taking RHT to task about the fictitous wagers. That’s when you KNOW it’s a problem. The smell of bull$hit so pungent that it’s as if we’re literally chewing on the $hit nuggets. Yet Andy, who’s taken umbrage in people for FAR FAR less, seemingly will stick up for him in certain situations (not in this selections department, bc even he knows the flies are circling the bs turds here).

Anyone else not named Alabama Stakes care to voice their opinions/gripes/AttaBoy RHT’s here?

I'm not going to participate on here as long as he's posting. It's as simple as that.
Posts a P4. Loses first leg. Better quadruple down on the P3. Lose that first leg. $150 to win and $60 DD. Lose that. Complain like a little B about it.
Last bet of the day! Loses.
45 mins later firing back with a $360 P3.
No thanks.
Get rid of this BS and get Pointman back to posting regularly and we all will be happy.

Maybe its my memory but I can’t recall you ever putting your opinion on the selections thread. I do recall you pounding the table when those of us are stating lowered bet types are killing the payouts and you stating we are wrong but when you were asked for any documentation supporting your position well we are still waiting. Let’s face it you are lobbying for a job with NYRA and this justified call out of Rock is just an extension of that.

On another note I miss Pointman. He has game

Ever notice how the pick 3 at NYRA pays well because they have the minimum at $1 ? Tri min should be $1. Super min 50 cents not a dime.

just to be clear I didnt factor in other posters and great players like Ed Peters, Nick Tammarro , Dan K and Paul Weizer who chose to not play around daily like Pointman.

I agree and will be pummeled when I bring that up and I am trying to not waste my time in Internet Beefs. Let’s somebody give me Pick 4 payouts prior to the move to Fiddy Cents and now. As I have stated many times before people are playing the same priced tickets and now getting much more coverage.

I can remember when $24 tri box play was standard faire. Plenty of value most times. $1 pick 4 paid like the 50 cent pick 5 pays now. They were always good.
If NYRA let everyone bet the late pick 5 with a low takeout, they could make that late pick 4 a buck and the bettors would be in a feeding frenzy like pogies getting chased by bluefish.
