Not clear what jurisdiction you are referring to, but in most cases a scratch in the final leg of a pick 3 will revert to the post time favorite.

anyone know what happened with...Paul LaDuca?

his mug is still on the TVG "analyst" page...haven't been seen in in a long time.......thankfully...

He joined NYRA last year and worked on Saratoga live, and he also joined the Action Network recently and so far writes up baseball 'action'. One of my favorite sites.
