Actually that distinction could go to St Louis if they win this week. They did beat Denver opening day but since then they've beat Arizona, Detroit, Green Bay, San Francisco, Oakland, and Washington. They will have played the easiest schedule in the NFL and will only be .500 if they beat Minnesota this week. At least the Giants have played the second toughest schedule in the league. Either way the NFC is garbage this year outside of the Bears.

Default Rams

I think it was a couple of years ago the Rams were the first team to go to the playoffs with a losing record. I think the Viqueens went that year too. My Rams have been so average for so long I don't even remember anything after 2001.

I'm sure the ownership is looking at what incentives would have to be paid out before ordering the coach to lose.... Some teams just don't want to win.

Defense wins championships. Run defense is more important that pass defense. (unless you're playing the Rams )

How about those Cleveland Brown teams of the late '80's winning their division with 8-8 records.

On back to the original subject.

As a fan, I'm rooting hard for a Bears to win it all. But anything else, I'm really rooting hard for the Chargers to do it. If they do, Archie will be reading about how dumb he looks for not wanting his son to play on a perennial losing team. While this so-called losing team will have a Super Bowl victory and thank the Mannings for not coming to their town. Super Bowl victories. Chargers 1, Manning family (zero).
