Seems like every day I either get the win horse or the place horse, but never the two together.

As an aside, I know you live in Houston casp. Anticipating any problems from the storm? My brother lived down there for a long time. I know it floods real easily.

Houston appears to be in for a huge rain event, the poor folks down in Corpus are really in for it, 105-135 mph winds at landfall and
Harvey may stall over that area for as long as 36 hours and then is projected to go back offshore and back inland just east of Galveston. Its gonna be ugly for sure. My Dad is in Richmond but the rest of the fam is in East Texas, my in-laws are real close. We should be fine barring tornados or extreme rising water. Good luck Cal!!

We're already flood here and Harvey still over the ocean. Be safe all residents of the affected area.

Good to hear. Hope you and your family are safe. Can't say I like the sound of it coming back East of Galveston, but maybe it will have lost some of its punch by then.

the last forecast we received from work shows it making a 360 degree loop in the Corpus area and then head north inland....in other words, no one has any idea what this thing will do after landfall...thanks Cal...now knock down that Del Mar play tonight!!
