Ditto. Seemed likea premature move from Kent, but must admit I am not the best of observers. Just seemed strange that he would feel the need to challenge the leaders while they were still in the backstretch.? I guess this is what you were referring to?

Cal...it looked like Desormo was going to sit right off of Sharp Samari's right hip and go with him in the stretch, why he moved early, who knows, didnt seem to have the horse in the stretch to even contend anyways. My frustration is picking two winners in a row and getting nothing, poor wagering on my part, even if it is monopoly $$

Even if you had the whole $100 on the winner you wouldn't have won but $220 and when you subtract out the $100, all you would have won was $120. A $20 exacta would have paid more, but I grant you, they have been pretty damn hard to hit. Still think they are the way to go.

I understand...exactas are the only way for me to play and expect to gain any ground...still saying, I picked winners and cant connect with them. That's frustrating.

I hear ya. We both probably should have gained some ground on that one no matter whether you played it as an exacta or just a straight win bet. I'm going to scale back the exactas somewhat. If I don't, pretty soon I'll be so far in the hole, it won't matter, if I hit a big one.
