Default HOF class of 2017... Goldikova, Castellano, Gomez, Espinoza

The committee absolutely nailed it:
I'm really glad GG got in,I'll always remember what his former agent said when he passed away............"He was good to everybody but himself".
Javier is just too freaking good to not be in...........love him in big races.
Victor.........speaking of money riders,he's been good for two decades in big races.
As a matter of fact, all three jocks are/were best when the lights shine brightest.
Goldikova.........man was she a star, how many horses can say they won three BC races ?
I know..........Beholder.

For the record, I voted Goldikova, Kona Gold, Craig Perret & Victor Espinoza.

Isn't it surprising to realize how long Castellano has been riding? He seems perennially youthful.

Sprinters continue to have to kick at the HOF door to get in. Kona Gold is worthy.

Was an authentic honor to inform Freddie Head of Goldikova's nod live on air.

Given some of the recent jockey inductions, the ignoring of Perret's merit is an ongoing disgrace.

In 1989-90, I was keeping track of the odds-normalized ROI's of riders in NY and CA, and some in KY. Perret's ROI was solidly over 100% and I was always glad to find him on a horse I was otherwise inclined to bet on.

That's cool about Freddie Head and Goldikova.

I died laughing listening to the initial reaction. He was all 'congratulations for what?' So touching when it dawned on him what had happened. He's just so proud of her.

Goldie is one of my all time favorites. Well deserved. Her electric turn of foot was no joke.

Congrats to the class of 2017 all worthy.

Surely a question I probably should know the answer to but....is the hall of fame only for American horses? I've never paid any attention to who gets in.
