Congraatulations to Ruffian333 for taking over the lead at Publichandicapper. I'm currently chasing her down. Race 9 and 10 should have been on the card for Saturday. I would have made a killing. Instead they went over to Sunday Haskel card when they killed me

Thanks for realizing THAT RUFFIAN333 in 1st IS ME!
There are several who use her name

In all the years I have played in that contest I rarely have made it into the top 50
.... so this momentary glory is to be cherished because I doubt it will last long

One philosophy suggests
It is not The Destination that is as important as the Journey getting there

So although the glory may be momentary it truly makes my heart sing

Thank You CRUZAN for noticing!

It's hard to overlook the Whitney card and keep it simple and less expensive for some of us. I mean $1 for Ultimate PP's on Bris is not a big deal ever if I'm jobless for now. I may be in a couple of months though.

The price you pay for winning JB , especially at this time of year.

I know the Travers is later on in the meet, what a maroon I am.

While I play on Public Handicapper I rarely look at the standings for obvious reasons. Kudos to Ruffian for leading the pack at the moment. With thousands of players that's quite a feat. Nice showings thus far by Cruzan and Tiger Rose another player I compete with. Mighty impressive.

Thanks very much to all of you who responded to my request for input. Clearly there is no easy answer and I'm sorry that not everyone can be made happy. The point about the cost of pp's for a multi track choice was very well made and I think those choices should be reserved for very special occasions, like the final preps for the BC races at KEE, SA and BEL in early October.

I've finally selected a third consecutive trip to the Spa rather than the other available choices, which just didn't strike me as good. Never thought that I'd have to quasi-apologize for choosing Saratoga. I just had to decide on something; if Harry Truman were part of our group, he'd tell us that the cyber-buck stops here.
