| A chance to play the Grand Slam when 3 of the legs are graded stakes and the anchor leg features both the Derby and Preakness winners. How can I not give it a shot. Sorry RQ, but here goes: Race 7 $2 Grand Slam: 2,7,8,11 // 3,4,8 // 4,7 // 1,2 ($96) Good luck to all and thank you to RQ for scoring. |

| RQ, congrats on hitting a Grand Slam that was truly a 4 bagger. As I read the charts, when your pick of #4 A.P. Indian was scratched from Race 8, you scratched into the post time favorite, which at the final click ended up being #8 Limousine Liberal, so you received credit for 3rd place and stayed alive. That being the case, I think the win of Good Samaritan in the final leg gave you $5 times the $45.25 that the GS paid, or $226.25. That's a very generous payoff for playing the "Bill Mott always has a winner at Saratoga on his birthday" angle. I tried to play it also, but unfortunately did so in the wrong race. Very well done. Perhaps I've been playing the Grand Slam all wrong. |

| Actually a nice payout for a GS. "The ship be sinking" lately so it was nice to get into positive territory. I had no idea AP was scratched and I had to Google Grand Slam rules. Glad to see your post to verify I did cash a ticket. I do not know what happens if it's an early scratch. For a 5 horse field I thought it was a good race. Pavel looked pretty good too.
