Long way to go to beat songbird my friend. That race could have been won by a trotter

So you all ( besides RHT ) think Songbird's win last week was more impressive than Forever Unbridled tonight? Really?

I'm not saying she'll beat Singbird in Saratoga, though I suspect she will if there's even a fair pace, but she was very good tonight.

You geniuses forget that Unbridled Forever doesn't run well into fast paces. She runs well into slow paces.
One other important thing to remember. Songbird is much more hoss than she will ever be. She does it easily too.

Hard to say without knowing how much either is going to move up, being their last races were first off a long layoff. Heck both of them could get beat at Saratoga if they don't improve off those efforts.

You should have RHT on set that day, worth the admission to the Spa for that!

Andy : I like the 4....

RHT : I agree

Andy : I'm also using the 3 as he had a tough trip last time

RHT : I was just going to say that

Andy : Maybe throw in the 7 as a longshot on the trainer switch

RHT : I always use that guy when he takes over a horse

No thanks....but great idea.

Honestly he may not have the resources to actually make the bets he posts here but Joe has some good ideas. He may be one of the best on here.

I think he knows I was joking around. I don't disagree that outside of his blind devotion to Baffert, his opinion is solid.

I'll be honest both efforts were about the same. Songbird was never in doubt and had a good tune up after the layoff. Forever also had nice tune up against a bad field. i prefer Songbirds style to forever. The horse wins races and I like that

Why was that a bad field ? There were graded stakes winners in it.
