It blows my mind that people get upset when speed figures are changed at a later date to better reflect accuracy in the mind of the figure maker.

I just don't get the logic or agenda of those that complain when clearly the only goal of changing the figure is to be as accurate as possible.

For those who have not watched the replay of the Illinois Derby, you might want to watch it. The Multplier hoss charged on late to earn the decision in a race he never looked like he would win. I know Hedge Fund just ran lousy, but that was a terrible ride, no chance run he had. Multiplier was very impressive and looked like a big tough hoss. Hopefully the jock has been paying attention and gets him off the fence for a big wide run to victory.

Beyers were originally rooted in mathematics, not art. Want art? Buy the rags. Now it's totally in the opinion of the figure maker, which was not the original intention. Backfitting serves no purpose other than vanity.
