It's official, with update from NJ Stinks, the Black Eyed Susan and Pimlico double is a play if you chose to make one of you four wagers.
The wager must be posted Friday prior to post time of the Black Eyed Susan.

Thank you!

Thank you, DonGuido.

About the cruise....it rained 2 of the 3 days we were in Bermuda and the 3rd day was not sunny. On top of that it rained really hard Saturday on the way back to Bayonne and the seas were mighty angry to boot. (From what I heard it was kind of like the weather at Monmouth last Saturday.)

But let's face it. Nobody wants to hear somebody complain about taking a cruise to Bermuda!

(I should add the food and service was still outstanding... )

Never have been on an ocean liner cruise and never will. I'd like to take the cruise on the Rhine River, now that's my cup oft vine or bier!!! Majestic scenery and if it goes down you're only a "short" swim from land and no freaking waves. Just stay a head of the monster eels and gar. There has to be some BIG old fish in that river. Or there's the Danube . . . is it blue anymore?

The Strauss waltz tells you that "The Danube's not blue, it's brown, it's brown" (you need to hum the tune as you read the words LOL) While the Rhine might not have waves, enough ships foundered on the rocks at the Lorelei that they had to conjure up a legend of a siren whose singing lured boatmen to their destruction on a reef in the river.

You don't need to go to the Rhine or Danube for a river cruise. There are a number of river cruises up and down the Mississippi and a number of its tributaries that will carry you in comfort and don't require that your passport be up to date. You won't see the castles of the Rhine or the vineyards of the Mosel, but the scenery along the Father of Waters is well worth the journey.
