Does the public bet this early on hunch bets? And do they make $980,000 of feel-good bets?! (as of 4:30ish). I'm surprised that so many people would even know that Patch is blind in one eye, before they hear it during the Derby broadcast.

With a 3-race resume', we don't really know how good Patch is yet. Someone must think he's pretty good.

here are the times of the recent 1-1/8 th mile stakes winners.

1:50.91
1:51.16
1:49.77

1:47.47
1:50.39
1:48.93


The one that says 1:47.47 belongs to Todd.


This is Todd's year.
