Finding vouchers at track

I've left them twice in machines at the OTB. Both were caused by machine delay and you always have to check. Both were around $400 and I got it back. The first one they put a hold on it, which makes it uncashable. Guy came back later and tried to cash it, they told him it was illegal and threw him out for good. The other one a guy had cashed it right away. They were able to review the video and knew the guy. When he came back the brought the cops in and had him arrested. They gave me my money right when it happened. They told me they got all the money back from the guy, he pled to a summary offense and got fined.

They told me using my rewards card made it very easy. All my transactions were linked to my nu,ber, including the voucher.

I've turned a bunch in and they made it a point to tell the person who turned it in and usually they come over and thank you. Made some friends that way.

From what I was told it's a crime. I'm sure some places don't want to be bothered, but they can do things to get it back.
