As a Bama fan I'm slightly relieved but good grief what a joke of a playoff.

Washington was completely dominated by USC. There is absolutely no reason for the Pac-12 to have an "automatic". The game against Bama will be a ratings disaster and snoozefest.

I just can't get that 49-10 DRUBBING that Michigan handed to PSU earlier this year out of my headp.

You know I'm just messing with you about Penn St. Thinking now, probably not something to joke about....
I have actually always been a fan, predicted and bet them vs Wisconsin and believe they should be in the playoff. Seems like the consensus says big 10 is the best conference so why don't they get 2 teams in. I think its crazy and really hope this makes it go to an 8 team playoff. Its early, but they are my big play in the bowl games. I already locked them in at 7.5 on sportsinteraction.com that could backfire but I believe the line trends towards them. They kind of just refuse to lose. I'm hoping its like 5 game day and I got some value a month out. I have been a fan since the Kerry Collins and Kijana Carter and Larry Johnson days.

I'm more than slightly relieved. Penn st woulda been a tough game. Washington is like a gift. They beat no one and got whipped by the only good team they played. Don't know how you can beat Ohio st. , win the conference and not be in. Fallout from Sandusky

Would increasing this to 8 games take care of the problem. Seems to me a lot less debate about who gets spots 7-8.

6 teams should be the standard. Two play-in games for the semifinals. 1 and 2 seed get a bye.

I can live with that.. Was thinking 8 teams would get resolved in 3 sessions. Your scenario works only thing will be the arguing about who gets the bye.

I think they have good shot in the rose bowl. Team is really playing well now. I was at that game Saturday and was unbelievable. Most fun I have had in a while

Sorry I get defensive in the pedo jokes.

I like the 8 with the top 5 having to be conference champs. Only issue is teams that go all the way will be playing as many games as nfl
