What race were you watching ? perfect ground saving covered up trip hoss just had nothing that's why he didn't win. He had room enough when it mattered, when the hole closed, it was a foregone conclusion. Best thing to could tell your son in law is that he probably knows more than you do

The lack of an ability by jocks to anticipate trouble is mind boggling, and one of the main reasons I stopped betting horses years ago.
I could see it happening literally a mile away, time after time, and I got to the same point you are at now. The disbelief that human beings could be so stupid is disheartening. |

Speaking of which, did it ever occur to you that editing out the mirror image in your avatar makes zero sense? |

Don't know how to resize pics. It says my files are too big.....but that's the full screen shot from the NBC feed.

I'm just saying that if they doctored the photo to show Beholder winning I could see them leaving off the mirror image, but to leave it off showing Songbird winning makes no sense. In fact, if anything, it implicates you.

The mirror is in my photo as a reference point. It's stationary and doesn't move. That pic shows where the 2 noses where at the finish line....you know, where they decide who won.
