I guess getting your horse in trouble as long as you save ground is a good ride nowadays. why the snippy comment?

The lack of an ability by jocks to anticipate trouble is mind boggling, and one of the main reasons I stopped betting horses years ago.

I could see it happening literally a mile away, time after time, and I got to the same point you are at now. The disbelief that human beings could be so stupid is disheartening.

I read your first four posts and thought that I was going to see one of the worst rides in history. You have not articulated what he did wrong. He put the horse in a position to win by saving ground, cutting the corner and got boxed in in the stretch. Did you want him to run over the horses in front of him? That is simply back luck. Had he gotten a hole and won he would be credited with a perfect ride.

Did you watch the replay before making this comment? I hardly see this ride as being an example of jockey incompetence. The luck of a hole opening can be the difference between bad luck and a perfect ride.

Watch the head on. The hoss had no run when the chance was there.
Snippy comment was due to you blathering on without doing due dilligence before your erroneous posts

I'm just saying that if they doctored the photo to show Beholder winning I could see them leaving off the mirror image, but to leave it off showing Songbird winning makes no sense. In fact, if anything, it implicates you.

The mirror is in my photo as a reference point. It's stationary and doesn't move. That pic shows where the 2 noses where at the finish line....you know, where they decide who won.
