Horses. The length of time it takes to run the race usually matches my attention span for sporting events. Sometimes I drift off during the Belmont.

Can someone answer me a stupid question? I thought it was technically illegal to bet on sports that don't involve four-legged athletes. Is that true, or does it vary state to state? I'm not making any sort of value judgment, by the way; I'm genuinely asking because I'm curious {and stupid since I don't know the answer myself}).

Quick blackjack quiz for Gander.

1. What's the correct play with Ace,7 against each possible dealer card in a 6 deck game (first hand of a freshly dealt shoe). Assume you can double down on any two cards.

2. When, if ever, is it correct to split 9's in the same game as above.
