maybe things are changing. ive last been to the track regularly in '03--midwest, woodlands, prairie meadows, eureka, lincoln. so, im reading what ur saying. i don't really "know". but, what i see is few horses being galloped regularly here. its getting hard to find riders, and also, think training is a little different here in general than on the coasts.

At the smaller tracks, you have a lot of cheap claiming horses that are really sore and broken down. These horses aren't going to gallop every day. Even here in Southern California at Hollywood Park, Del Mar, and Santa Anita there are a lot of sore and broken down horses. These horses don't gallop every day. I was only referring to sound horses.
