Thank you for the information. Imagine a church group complaning about shady activities. I remember the churches in Lawrencebugh, IN complaing about shady activites when the riverboat casino moved into the area. But they quickly stopped complaining when they got their first check from the casino.

I think their just complaining because they are totally against any
form of gambling (except their bingo nights) and protested the slots thouroughly.

I think you are exactly correct. But I like the increase in MSW to $28k from $20k. This is going to be good for Philly Park.

Plus if you have a Pa. Bred your going to get a nice bonus running
in the MSW and allowance races. I notice a lot of breeders are breeding
to the better studs in Md. and foaling in Pa. So now there Pa. breds with Maryland Million eligibility.

You are exactly correct. That is a great idea to do. Now we just need Maryland to get on board.

It would be great if Md. gets slots, I can just imagine the quality of turf racing they can have at Laurel with that huge turf course. Magna has but a lot of money into Laurel hopefully he they can be rewarded with slots. The time is ticking away until Md. racing becomes an after thought.
