Was Douglas "banning" the jockeys together to strike? Similiar to Sellers little escapade at Churchill? If it was drug related wouldn't the stewards know about it?

Isn't the whole idea behind "keeping quiet"
in the best interest of the Calder / Tropical management? Bet they're counting the days until Gulfstream Park starts. ![]() Right now they have a meet underway, and further negativity in the press would no doubt affect the handle on their product in adverse ways. |
