Would win if the voting was today? Maybe. Should win? Possibly. Slam dunk? No way. And if Arrogate won the Classic, he might win it unanimously.

The award says it goes to the best, not most accomplished. I am not sure how anyone could doubt that Arrogate is the best.

Those people who expect the best to have partcipated in and won more than 1 stakes race would most certainly be doubters.

I hear you but I think those people would be the kind that favor consistency. I can understand that but I don't think it takes more than one performance to show how good you are. If we're talking about a marginal win like the horse that won the Jim Dandy, that's one thing. We are talking about an obliteration of a race and an obliteration of the track record in the process.

Forgetting all that, I have another question for you. If you have Arrogate in the field for the Penn Derby with Nyquist and Exaggerator, who are you picking?
