My final tally was a little over 9100 from a 2k bankroll. The winner was around 12,200.

I had a $100 exacta Coppa-Malibu Stacy to get started then a $12 tri in the Belmont Derby, where I liked Deauville and Highland Sky. The eventual winner hit the Belmont Derby first, fell down to fifth or so then crushed the AP Indian-Marking exacta.

I hit the tri in the last at Arlington for $5 also and that got me up to 3rd place.

Third in this tournament last year was about 6500, but it was on a Sunday with far less competitive racing. Was certainly a nice way to spend the day. Can't recommend Arlington strongly enough to anyone who hasn't been there. It's a palace.

In a strange twist of fate, after listening to you on the boss' show talking about marking and deauville.....good insight
Arlington is something else. You wouldn't even consider throwing a loser on the ground it's so pristine.

Considering the field size in the Bemont Derby that was some fine work.
