That progression is peanuts compared to some human achievements. We're living in the age of information. What these trainers, coaches, and athletes are doing present day is revolutionary. Training habits abandoned for something completely unique and complex. Knowing this I hold great restraint when comparing to the past. Records don't mean as much.
