It was an extremely slow pace, in relative terms, and it was more of a bobble than stumble. He took a hold of him very quickly and made little attempt for the lead. Yes, in my opinion, it was a poor ride and it cost the horse any chance for victory.
I don't think it's a slam dunk but you have a case. Thanks for your insight.
