I definitely did.

And now I got it. He did make that look hard.

I assume you agree with Sea Calisi though? That horse is for real IMO and is the likely F&M BC turf winner. I guess it might help on the odds in the next one?

Yes, I agree that Sea Calisi was best today, and she is a terrific horse, but it's a little premature the call her the "likely" BC winner. If she stays sound, she feels like a horse that could be a major player, but there are a lot of "ifs" in that statement.

Her race today will lower her odds next time. Everyone saw her trip/trouble.

So, after the stumble, you wanted JV to rush him up into the lead past a horse in Dad's Caps (who ran great) that was already setting tough early fractions? I just don't think he wins that way either. I don't think Holy Boss was winning that race after the stumble no matter what so blaming the rider is tough in my opinion but I am interested in your thoughts on what JV should have done.

It was an extremely slow pace, in relative terms, and it was more of a bobble than stumble. He took a hold of him very quickly and made little attempt for the lead. Yes, in my opinion, it was a poor ride and it cost the horse any chance for victory.

I don't think it's a slam dunk but you have a case. Thanks for your insight.
