I enjoyed the week of post-Preakness commentary on your morning radio show. One of the things I like about your show is that you let your guests express their views, whether or not they reflect your own opinion. You generally make your own views known as well, but not at the expense of the guest. That kind of seems to be what horse players do - give an opinion and a reason for the opinion, then listen to somebody else who has a different opinion for a different reason. I learn from these exchanges and the different perspectives expressed on the show. I particularly enjoyed your discussion this week with Paul Matties Jr. about the Preakness, riding styles, training styles, and their influence on the sport. Thank you for bringing a spectrum of viewpoints from knowledgeable people who love and respect the sport.

My target format with ATR has been that of the comprehensive morning show/newsmagazine that hits on as many relevant areas of interest as possible. The regulars and guests who are incredibly generous with their contributions make it possible. There are likely a few 'wider' critical viewpoints that could be included, but my priority is to relentlessly present a positive view of the industry. There are enough voices out there that want stakeholders to feel bad about being involved in the sport. I want people involved with the game, and those interested in getting involved, to feel good about it.
