The second I start tossing closers on the dirt is when one will win and I'll lose more money. Although the track is favoring speed and pressers. The majority of the time when I abandon my method is when some big price closer barrels home. That dirt course has never been a favorite of mine. It doesn't help that Pimlico is no longer Pimlico. Without the Preakness it would be a Wal-Mart Supercenter.
