April J. Foster, 29, was arrested by Kansas City, Missouri police on Friday for slapping a police horse at a protest against leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on March 12.

April was charged with abuse of a police service animal.

A photographer with The Kansas City Star saw a woman slap a police horse in the face. When officers pointed her out for arrest, she disappeared into the crowd.

Police said Foster approached an officer and his horse named Dan and began yelling and screaming in the horse’s face, trying to scare the animal.

“When this tactic did not work she attempted to push my horse with no success. I observed this to only make her more angry and violent and in a last attempt she struck my horse in the face with an open hand,” the officer’s report said.

The officer said Foster then ran away and they weren’t able to catch up to her due to the size of the crowd.

God, folks are stupid! I despise Trump's message and behavior but acting like an a-hole only builds his following. George Wallace employed the same tactics and became a political force, agitating folks so they would act out and turn off the public....protests are a basic right but one must consider the motivation, are these folks genuine or clowns and stooges looking for their "15 minutes of fame"? Exactly how does striking a horse or berating a police officer secure the moral high ground?

I will never understand how a supposed intelligent being could raise a hand to an animal, a real innocent bystander.

What if a hoss named " no way man " bit you on the shoulder while you were walking a hot ?

Hint . That hoss wished it was an open hander instead of the punch in the face he got when had tried it again .

He took it like a hoss though , no hard feelings .

Used to like the way Jim Hannon called him when he won . No WAY Man He was a photogenic biter with a few real close wins . Pat DiGregorio trained him. That is all

The 600-foot ship will cost at least $4.4 billion, according to AP — more than twice the cost of the Navy’s current Arleigh Burke class of guided missile destroyers.

And as it turns out, the lawsuit is being funded by a tech billionaire who wants to shut down a media source that has been critical of him:

http://www.forbes.com/sites/ryanmac/.../#17b314967805

Because he's a right winger, I'm sure OldDog will be all, "You go, tech billionaire guy!" but in fact, rich folk using their unlimited funds to lawsuit media outlets out of existence (or out of ever saying anything critical about said rich folk for fear of being lawsuited out of existence) is a frightening prospect for those who actually value freedom of the press. Not as frightening as Zika, which the GOP is dragging its heels on dealing with, but plenty frightening anyway.
