I really think they were just going to ignore everything until they changed to the new water system in june of this year, and hope that solved all the problems.
except it wouldn't, because flint river water corroded all the pipes, which is why the lead is now exposed and in the water... Detroit found out flint was changing to that system, tried to force them to stay with Detroit-so flint jumped the gun and moved to the river until the huron pipeline was ready-knowing full well that the river was NO good substitute. what a goddamn mess.
