Two weeks ago Nate Silver had this at 31% Cruz, 26% Trump, 15% Rubio.

If anything, Rubio eroded Cruz's base. Trump never expected to win there, and the ONLY relevant aspect of IA is that now the MSM has their latest establishment lackey to put over. Cruz is toast.
