Druggie... you should know this, wasnt Orientate thrown all over the place distant-wise by Lukas? For some reason im having a very vague recollection of him being WAY over his head in a route race.

Also, a filly that deserves mention when discussing speed is Moccasin. What a monster of a filly size and girth wise. Wish I was around then to see her.

On a side-note, she was the dam of 7 stakes winner from 8 to race. Now thats a great production record to her credit.

Orientate may have run in that BC Classic. He almost surely ran in the SA Handicap.

First of all....it's DrugS to you (and everyone else for that matter)

Orientate won the Indiana Derby at like 15/1, on the stretch-out, as a 3-year-old...and D. Ranged Lukas ran him in the Breeders Cup Classic next time out. He was on the lead early and was eased late, it was the race where Sakhee hung like rotten salami against Tiznow.

Orientate ran in a couple, I think three or four route races at SA during the winter meet at age 4. He won a grass stake--and him and Western Pride (a Chapman horse) went 1-2 the entire way around the track in the Strub.

He was finally brought back to dirt sprints in the Commonwealth at KEE...and never lost another dirt sprint. I believe he did run in a pair of turf stakes after his Commenwealth win over Aldebaran...with little or no success.
