If you don't want to get all dressed up and spend $400, they also usually have a more casual party the night before in the paddock/ walking ring area. Nice spread of food and drinks for like a $20 minimum donation. It may be a private party from 6-8pm for Eclipse ticket holders, then open to the public from 8pm +

I've been in the past, and it's a fun event.
