![]() 20K buy in. Way too rich for me but since
there are a lot of pro's on this site I was wondering if anyone would buy in http://www.bloodhorse.com/horse-raci...g-championship |

![]() Won't buy in, but might try one of the numerous feeder contests that twinspires will inevitably run between now and May.

![]() Given the big price of entry, feeders will be quite tough. I can't see how any site can award more than one and to keep them affordable, it will likely be more than a 100-1 shot.
I would consider buying in if there were no take out, but it seems that the prize pool will be funding the NHC and BC seats. Most top live money events such as the BCBC and Del Mar provide the seats on top of the prize pool creating a positive expectation. I would consider buying in if the accommodations were better. But, an average space on the second floor where we share tables is not commensurate with this level of play. (Again, see the Breeder's Cup, Del Mar, Santa Anita, etc.). I can do the Breeder's Cup contest for half the price and get premium treatment. Personally, I will plan to play in the Treasure Island contests that weekend (assuming they run them as the last few years) which offer no take out plus NHC seats. Accordingly, they are a much better value. Paul |
