Sometimes these races are mind-numbing... in trying to push aside sentiment and look with fresh eyes I wonder about LIa Fail as well but also and moreso Kitasan Black and Albert. Luckily there's time. I shall probably just use Lovely Day on top and not get too cute but then who knows!

Yeah sometimes you just wonder why jockeys are thinking the way they do... I am being kind here.

Re the Tokyo Daishoten (on Tuesday)... it would be nice to see Hokko Tarumae win it for the 3rd straight year.

In the comments from connections which I am sure you've read Mr. Hashiguchi says all he wants is for One and Only to make a comeback. Yeah really!

Soooo I am thinking I might face reality and admit this is not the proper distance for Lovely Day, that I might be wise to take into account the condition comment by Mr. Yokoyama re Kitasan Black , admit that I probably did get lucky with the VERY good Marialite... Lia Fail might be a star in the making but that course... hmmm..(.is the one win at Chukyo enough to tackle Nakayama?) ... and reluctantly use Albert in the top spot (Kitasan Black underneath).

Trying to pit together a tri but nothing feels right so I am doing an exacta with Albert, Marialite and Kitasan Black on top and leaving it at that. A great field... exciting stuff. Hope you hit it SS, Ed, Coachie, Kitan... any of your guys playing tonight.
