![]() not sure why you're so riled about this anyway, even had they got the td, the d didn't stop seattle, who scored another td. so, regardless, the steelers would lose.
and if they couldn't get a td in three tries, how would they manage on the fourth? no matter what pitt did, they had to stop seattle to win-which they didn't do. and tomlin knew they had to stop seattle regardless-which is why he took the easy three. because a stop means they could potentially get another three, but no points at all would have doomed pitt. they'd have had to get a td in the amount of time left. tomlin did the right thing, his d cost him in the end. if a team scores 30 or more, they ought to be assured a win. |
