That was a great race and effort by Tonalsit whom I thought was going to be pulled up. Red Vine I thought was the best in there and lost momentum trying to squeeze through a hole. i think he wins with a clear run. I also agree with Joey, Private Zone seemd to have equipment problems.

Its close regarding who was best because Tonalist was so far off the moderate pace. As for Red Vine I think he wins with a clear run. He was bottled up and steadied all while Tonalist is moving in the clear.

Why Private Zone has had four trainers?

seems like before you start making plans for a horse, you check with the horse....

We never had a chance to work him, because obviously he didn't want to do it the day it was planned, and at that point I should have made a decision not to go. I just should have said, 'No.' "

Seems like the horse tried to say no, but they didn't listen.

Had to move from O'Neill while he was out on a suspension; Velazquez was always strictly a temporary stop-gap; Navarro did a nice job with Private Zone but Douglas didn't enjoy dealing with him.
