Bob, Honestly I haven't. Due to the nature of this thread, and my inability to fathom its abject absurdity, I've made the decision to self-identify as a woman of color - suffering from a crippling case of Yogaphobia, no less - in order to gain deeper insight and self awareness into the pain and horror of micro-aggression.

I have to tell ya it's time consuming - Try as I may, I can't seem to accumulate the requisite amount of one thousand paper cuts as yet.



As for the Ottawa Sun, I can only tell you that a simple google search of:

Student+Federation+Acting+President+Romeo+Ahimakin

Will yield a litany of additional sources, many of whom have conducted their own interviews with 'ole Romeo, not just simply a regurgitation of the Sun piece.

That was actually a really interesting read, because it went into the etymology of the word, which is in fact named after a person with the last name of Lynch. (Kind of like burke, though that's not nearly as well known).

Eh, just add the guy's first name and middle initial, like the students ask, and be done with it. Actually a better tribute to the guy, too, since it's not that uncommon a last name.
